Clinton campaign set to hire Ready for Hillary staffers
Adam Parkhomenko, the executive director of the Ready for Hillary super-PAC, is ready to put his slogan into action and join Hillary Clinton’s official campaign once she announces, according to a report from The New York Times.
The Times says that Parkhomenko will serve as the director of grassroots engagement when the campaign begins. It adds that Neisha Blandin, who currently serves as Ready for Hillary’s grassroots fundraising director, will also join the Clinton campaign, along with four other Ready for Hillary staffers
Parkhomenko is a longtime Clinton supporter and started a website in 2004 attempting to goad Clinton into a presidential bid. He worked on her 2008 campaign as an aide to the campaign manager, according to a profile in an Arlington, Va., magazine.
He helped start the super-PAC along with Allida Black, a George Washington University professor, and Black’s wife, Judy Beck.
This is the latest trickle of hiring news from the Clinton camp ahead of a presidential campaign launch that’s expected as soon as this month. Various outlets have also reported that Clinton has hired staffers in crucial states and has begun to staff up her communications team.
