Trump: ‘I’d love’ to have Sarah Palin in my administration

Sarah Palin stood up for him after his recent controversial remarks about John McCain’s war hero status sparked a firestorm of criticism, so now Donald Trump is returning the favor — by offering her a cabinet position in his future administration.

{mosads}Speaking on “The Palin Update,” a radio program devoted to the former GOP VP nominee, Trump told host Kevin Scholla he’d “love” to have Palin join his administration in an official capacity, should he be elected president.

“She really is somebody who knows what’s happening, and she’s a special person,” Trump said. “Everybody loves her.”

The Republican presidential candidate went on to contrast his eminently “weak” and “ineffective” rivals in the race for the White House with Palin.

“[Voters] like the Sarah Palin kind of strength,” Trump told Scholla. “You just don’t see very much of it anymore.”
