Paul campaign releases ‘Audit the Ted’ cartoon

Sen. Rand Paul’s (R-Ky.) is going after presidential rival Ted Cruz in cartoon form.

On Monday, Paul’s campaign released a cartoon video titled “Audit the Ted,” which features two characters, a man and a woman, discussing Paul’s recent bill to audit the Federal Reserve, which he called “Audit the Fed.” The bill was defeated in the Senate.

{mosads}The characters in the video discuss why fellow Sen. Cruz (R-Texas) missed the vote, despite saying that he supports the measure.

When one character asks the other where Cruz gets his campaign contributions from, the other responds, “I hear Wall Street money. Millions. Even one million from the Goldman Sachs.”

“Does the Goldman Sachs want to audit the Fed?” the male character asks.

“I don’t think so. They are the Fed,” the woman responds.

The two characters also go on to discuss the recent revelation that Cruz had failed to disclose a $1 million loan to his 2012 Senate campaign from Goldman Sachs.

After discussing Paul’s merits, the two characters agree that the Kentucky senator should “Audit the Ted.”
