Google: Kasich top-searched GOP candidate in NH

Republican presidential candidate John Kasich was the top-searched GOP candidate in New Hampshire on Tuesday afternoon, according to Google Trends.

The Ohio governor was searched more than front-runner Donald Trump, who came in second among top candidates searched. Sen. Ted Cruz and Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) followed in third and fourth place with former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush coming in fifth.

The candidates are making their last appeals for voters in the New Hampshire primary on Tuesday, where Trump is hoping for his first GOP primary victory. Trump has held a double-digit lead in the polls for months.

The race for second place is much closer, with several candidates hoping for a breakout performance.
