Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) on Tuesday criticized Democratic presidential rival Hillary Clinton’s paid speeches, pantomiming releasing the transcripts from his own at CNN’s Democratic town hall in South Carolina.
{mosads}“Well I am very happy to release all of my paid speeches to Wall Street, here it is, Chris,” Sanders said, pretending to toss them to moderator Chris Cuomo.
“There ain’t none,” he added. “I don’t do that.”
The Vermont senator has been knocking Clinton for not releasing the transcripts of her speeches, which cost big banks at least $100,000 each.
At a Democratic debate from earlier this month, Clinton said she would “look into” releasing the texts.
On Monday, Sanders tweeted a countdown since she made that debate comment:
It’s been 17 days, 16 hours and 32 minutes since @HillaryClinton said she would “look into” releasing her paid speeches to Wall Street.
