Dalai Lama declines to give view of Trump

The Dalai Lama on Wednesday declined to offer an opinion of Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump.

“That’s your business,” he said in response to a question about what he thinks about Trump during an interview with ABC News’s Dan Harris.

{mosads}He said he had no right to vote in the U.S. election and added that he doesn’t know the “whole background” about the billionaire candidate.

“Sometimes I feel, oh, too much personal criticism,” the Dalai Lama said.

He said serious discussions about policy matters are useful, but noted that the candidates sometimes engage in too many personal attacks.
