The Dalai Lama on Wednesday declined to offer an opinion of Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump.
“That’s your business,” he said in response to a question about what he thinks about Trump during an interview with ABC News’s Dan Harris.
{mosads}He said he had no right to vote in the U.S. election and added that he doesn’t know the “whole background” about the billionaire candidate.
“Sometimes I feel, oh, too much personal criticism,” the Dalai Lama said.
He said serious discussions about policy matters are useful, but noted that the candidates sometimes engage in too many personal attacks.
