RNC denies that staffers were told to back Trump or leave
The Republican National Committee (RNC) is denying that staffers were told to support presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump or leave by the end of the week.
{mosads}“100% not true,” tweeted RNC communications director Sean Spicer, linking to a story The New York Times published Wednesday making the claim.

The Times reported that staff who are unable to get behind the nominee should leave by the end of the week.
Some members of the Republican Party are struggling with Trump’s status as party standard-bearer after rivals Ted Cruz and John Kasich suspended their campaigns following losses in Indiana’s primary Tuesday.
RNC Chairman Reince Priebus declared Trump the presumptive nominee after Cruz’s withdrawal from the race and has called for the party to unify to stop the likely Democratic nominee, Hillary Clinton.
.@realDonaldTrump will be presumptive @GOP nominee, we all need to unite and focus on defeating @HillaryClinton #NeverClinton
