19 pledged Missouri delegates go to Trump

Missouri Republicans have picked their at-large delegates to send to the Republican National Convention in July. 

Ninteen at-large delegates are pledged to Donald Trump, the Kansas City Star reported. 

{mosads}An additional six at-large delegates pledged to Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), who dropped out after a poor finish in Indiana’s May 3 primary, making Trump the party’s presumptive nominee. 

Trump barely won Missouri’s primary in March, garnering 40.9 percent of the vote to Cruz’s 40.7 percent. At the time, Trump picked up 37 delegates, while Cruz was awarded 15. 

The at-large delegates were awarded at the state’s Republican convention Saturday and include longtime conservative activist Phyllis Schlafly — who will be pledged to Trump — and Rep. Sam Graves.
