Greta Van Susteran plans ‘fair and balanced’ show on MSNBC

Greta Van Susteren said Monday she is planning to put on a “fair and balanced” show in her new role at MSNBC.

“I consider it far and balanced. The show is going to be about facts,” the former Fox News host told MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.”

“I’m going to ask questions and how the chips fall they may fall. But, I’m hoping to also do some unfinished business — stories that I’ve started that I’ve never been able to finish.”

{mosads}Van Susteren said her show will be on the “edge of the news.”

“We’re going to be talking about the hearings this week,” she said.

“We’re going to be talking about everything I think that’s current and give me a little chance to finish up some business I left incomplete.”

Van Susteren made a sudden departure from Fox News, which uses “Fair and Balanced” as a slogan, in September. In a statement at the time, she said Fox News “has not felt like home for me for a few years.”

During her first MSNBC show Monday night, Van Susteren said she will have incoming White House chief of staff Reince Priebus and Valerie Jarrett, a senior adviser to President Obama.
