Michelle Obama tweets support for Lewis
First lady Michelle Obama on Monday tweeted her support for Rep. John Lewis (D-Ga.), who is in the midst of a very public feud with President-elect Donald Trump.
“Thinking of Dr. King and great leaders like @repjohnlewis who carry on his legacy. May their example be our call to action,” said the tweet posted on the first lady’s account on Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

{mosads}Trump attacked Lewis on Twitter over the weekend for saying he is not a “legitimate president.”
“Congressman John Lewis should spend more time on fixing and helping his district, which is in horrible shape and falling apart (not to mention crime infested) rather than falsely complaining about the election results. All talk, talk, talk – no action or results. Sad!” Trump wrote in a series of tweets.
The civil rights leader is among a growing list of Democrats who are boycotting Trump’s inauguration on Friday.
