The family headed to the church from Blair House, the presidential guest house, on Friday morning, where they spent Trump’s final night as president-elect with family, arriving at the church around 8:40 a.m.
The service at St. John’s is an Inauguration Day tradition for incoming presidents, which started with Franklin Delano Roosevelt in 1933.
