Federal government working on 3-hour delay
The federal government will be open on Tuesday with a three-hour delay due to a winter storm in the Washington area, the Office of Personnel Management announced.
Employees have the option for unscheduled leave or unscheduled telework.
“Employees should plan to arrive for work no more than 3 hours later than they would be expected to arrive,” the OPM said.
{mosads}Snow that started falling in the area overnight is expected to mix with rain and continue through the afternoon.
Snow-covered and icy roads were reported early Tuesday morning.
