Actress Lily Collins is sharing a letter from Michelle Obama cheering on “strong women,” one that came complete with a Wonder Woman stamp.
“I just received a letter in the mail, which put me in a deep state of shock,” the 28-year-old “Rules Don’t Apply” star said in a video posted on Instagram on Monday.
The letter, dated April 3 and signed by the former first lady, thanks Collins for sending her a copy of her recently released book, “Unfiltered: No Shame, No Regrets, Just Me.”

“The gift was such a nice gesture and I look forward to sharing it with my daughters,” Obama, 53, wrote.
“The outpouring of support I have received from women across the country continues to amaze me,” she said, “and I am filled with a great sense of hope for our shared future.”
“I heard this quote recently and it reminded me of your book, so I wanted to share it with you. ‘Here’s the strong women, may we know them, may we be them, may we raise them.’”

Collins called Obama someone “I admire and respect so much.”
The Golden Globe-nominated actress added the “coolest part” of Obama’s message was on the envelope it came in.
“Her letter came with a Wonder Woman stamp!” Collins exclaimed, pointing to the image.
