Sen. Brian Schatz (D-Hawaii) on Wednesday mocked the Trump administration for the lack of focus on infrastructure during the White House’s “infrastructure week.”
“Just wanted to say I’m enjoying infrastructure week,” Schatz tweeted.
Asked by a reporter what his favorite part was, Schatz replied: “[Director of National Intelligence Dan C]oats.”

{mosads}The Washington Post reported Tuesday that President Trump asked Coats to intervene in former FBI Director James Comey’s probe into former national security adviser Michael Flynn.
Comey is testifying to a Senate committee Thursday, where he’s expected to speak about private conversations where Trump allegedly pressured him to ease off on the investigation into Flynn.
The White House touted this week as “infrastructure week,” with Trump signing a list of legislative priorities related to air traffic control reform.
