The actor and Republican politician called the centrist French president a “great leader” on Twitter.
“I’m here with President Macron, we’re talking about environmental issues and a green future,” Schwarzenegger says in the video before passing the phone camera to Macron.
“And now we will deliver together to make the planet great again,” Macron adds.

Macron was repeating his “Make our planet great again” challenge that he issued to President Trump following the White House’s decision to exit the Paris climate agreement.
“I call on you to remain confident,” Macron said in a video posted on Twitter in June. “We will succeed because we are fully committed. Because wherever we live, whoever we are, we all share the same responsibility. Make our planet great again.”
