Biden: Obama bromance memes are ‘basically true’
Former Vice President Joe Biden told a Chicago audience Monday night that the memes about him and former President Obama are “basically true.”
“You know all those memes are basically true,” Biden said, adding that because he is nearly 20 years older than Obama, he “can say things to him that no one else can say,” according to the Chicago Tribune.
{mosads}Biden was in Chicago for a book tour of his new memoir, “Promise Me, Dad,” which focuses on the 2015 death of his son, Beau Biden.
Biden and Obama have in the past both joked about the memes portraying the pair’s “bromance,” in which Obama is typically shooting down Biden’s prank ideas, like hiding fake birth certificates in a drawer in the White House.
