Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush is targeting Donald Trump and other rivals for the GOP nomination in his first television ad of the presidential campaign.

Bush faces the camera in an open-collar dress shirt for the 30-second spot while speaking about “an important choice to make about the direction of our country.”

“If you want more DC politicians or more self-promoters, you’ve got options,” Bush says. “I’m offering something different: leadership, ideas and a proven conservative record.”

“Anybody can talk. I’ve delivered,” Bush adds in the spot, mentioning his efforts to cut taxes, balance budgets and promote job creation during his tenure as governor.

The ad is slated to air starting Wednesday in the early voting state of New Hampshire on cable, radio and broadcast television, according to the campaign. The ad will stay on the air through Sept. 29.

The spot is backed by an initial $500,000 ad buy, with $75,000 of that focused on targeted online advertising in the Granite State and other early voting states.

New Hampshire is central to the campaign strategy for Bush, who is lagging in several polls and has recently targeted the conservative resume of Trump, the GOP front-runner.

Distinguishing himself from “self-promoters” seems to be a shot at Trump, who has repeatedly mocked Bush as having “low energy.”
