RNC outraises DNC

The Republican National Committee outraised their Democratic counterparts in January, ending the month in a considerably stronger financial position than the Democratic National Committee.

{mosads}In January, the RNC raised $7.8 million, while the DNC raised $6.6 million. The RNC has been a bright spot for GOP fundraising this cycle, typically outraising the DNC, while Democratic Party committees for House and Senate races have been outpacing their Republican counterparts.

The RNC has $9.8 million cash on hand, and the DNC has $5.7 million.

And while the RNC has no debt, the DNC increased its load slightly, from $15.6 million to $15.9 million since the end of the year.
