Clinton wins Northern Mariana Islands caucuses
Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has won the Northern Mariana Islands caucuses, ABC News reported early Saturday morning.
Clinton won 54 percent of the vote — a total of 102 votes — while rival Bernie Sanders got 34 percent — a total of 65 votes.
{mosads}The former secretary of State picks up four more pledged delegates, while Sanders gets two.
The Northern Mariana Islands also have five superdelegates. One of those has already pledged to Clinton. The remaining four have yet to endorse a candidate.
The tiny island caucuses come just days before some slightly bigger contests. Florida, Illinois, Missouri, North Carolina and Ohio will all hold primaries on Tuesday, with a total of 691 pledged delegates on the line.
