Bennet challenger Photoshopped black woman into banner

The Denver Post caught the slight alteration, in which former state House Speaker Andrew Romanoff’s campaign took a woman from another picture at the same event and inserted her next to Romanoff.

A look at the pictures below shows just how easy the swap was.

The first photo appears on the front of Romanoff’s website. Once you click through to the home page, though, the woman in the second picture suddenly appears alongside Romanoff, as shown in the banner below (courtesy of ColoradoPols.com, which blew up part of the banner).

“We’re not putting in someone who wasn’t at the rally,” Romanoff campaign manager Roy Teicher told the Post. “We do nothing
that suggests the rally is bigger than it was.

“The practice of using Photoshop is absolutely accepted under these
circumstances.”
