The White House said the president’s remarks at the fundraiser would be open to the media.

It will be Obama’s first fundraiser since an event late last month ahead of the opening of the George W. Bush Presidential Library in Dallas. That event, which benefited the DNC and House Democrats, cost $10,000 per person and was held at the Dallas home of Naomi Aberly, a top bundler for both of Obama’s presidential campaigns.

According to the White House, Obama has agreed to headline at least nine additional events for the House and Senate Democratic campaign committees ahead of the 2014 midterm elections.
