Trump continues to promote Trump

Real estate mogul and reality TV star Donald Trump continued his extended media tour to promote his possible run for president.

Trump boasted on NBC’s “Today” show Thursday that he would be the “best” possible president and challenger to President Obama in 2012, although he’s still a couple of months away from a decision on whether to run.

His possible candidacy was boosted this week by an NBC/Wall Street Journal poll showing that 17 percent of Republican primary voters would support Trump’s bid for the nomination. The result was a second-place tie with former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, and puts him behind only former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney.
