DNC slams Romney over Ohio labor issue in Web ad

{mosads}What’s Mitt’s position? He can’t take one. He’s running for office, for Pete’s sake, the new ad reads, a play on something Romney said in the last GOP debate.

“I’m running for office, for Pete’s sake, I can’t have illegals, Romney said he told a lawn company working for him that had hired undocumented workers.

Obama campaign adviser David Axelrod called it a “revealing moment, and the DNC has sought to capitalize on the line.

“Not that it was wrong or not that it was illegal, [but that] ‘I’m running for office,’” Axelrod said last week of Romney’s statement about illegals.

The ad is part of the DNC’s ongoing anti-Romney “Which Mitt” campaign. Similarly, Perry on Wednesday urged his Twitter followers to use the hashtag #flipflopmitt.
