Perry earns nod from N.H. anti-abortion group

He did not name names. “But more than just talking the talk, Rick Perry has shown he is a man of strong faith and strong action.”

Wuelper cited Perry’s actions to shutdown Planned Parenthood clinics in Texas, including millions for pregnancy resource centers and prohibiting tax-funded  abortions in his state budget, signing a ban on late-term abortions and a law that requires a doctor to perform a sonogram on an expectant mother before performing an abortion.

Perry also received an endorsement from Kansas Gov. Sam Brownback, known for his anti-abortion record. Anti-abortion group Texas Right for Life has endorsed Perry in his past gubernatorial campaigns.
