Bachmann invokes Cain, 9-9-9 plan

{mosads}At a previous debate Bachmann had ripped the plan, saying that if you turn the numbers upside down that the “devil is in the details.”

“People were very excited about that plan because they understood what that meant,” she continued. “And I think that’s a challenge for every one of us because a lot of times you can end up sounding like a big bureaucrat in Washington. People don’t want that.”

Bachmann said her slogan would be “win-win-win” rather than 9-9-9.”

When Cain announced that he was suspending his campaign, he promised that he will make an endorsement soon, and it could be a boost to whichever candidate gets it. The former Godfather’s Pizza CEO resonated with conservative voters even though allegations of sexual harassment and infidelity ultimately derailed his campaign.

Still, it may be too late for Bachmann to get much of a boost from former Cain supporters.

Polls show that most Cain supporters identified Newt Gingrich as their second choice, and the most recent post-Cain polls show that the former House Speaker has opened up an even bigger lead over the rest of the GOP field since Cain left the race.
