Gingrich joins Huntsman in threat to boycott Nevada caucus

{mosads}Gingrich joined Huntsman in calling on other Republicans to skip the caucus unless the date is moved. Huntsman and Rick Santorum have accused front-runner Mitt Romney in pushing for the contest to leapfrog other early primaries in an attempt to secure an easy early victory in the state, which has a large Mormon population.

“I trust Governors Romney and Perry will join me in protecting the New Hampshire primary and campaigning in New Hampshire towards a January 10th primary contest,” Gingrich said.

The move by Nevada — coupled with similar posturing from Florida — has thrown the early primary schedule into chaos, threatening to push the contest into December.
