Texas congressman’s son gives $10 million to Cruz super-PAC

Sen. Ted Cruz’s super-PAC sports a $10 million donation from a Texas congressman’s son, new Federal Election Filings Show.

{mosads}Toby Neugebauer, son of Rep. Randy Neugebauer (R-Texas), has already been linked by Yahoo News to the many of super-PACs backing Cruz. The new filings show the massive donation went to Keep the Promise II, one of three groups with similar names.

The massive donation helped the super-PACs say they had hauled in more than $37 million over the first six months of the year, more than those supporting any other candidate outside of former Fla. Gov. Jeb Bush (R-Fla.). His allied super-PAC, Right to Rise, raised $103 million.
