Jeb Bush donor and billionaire Mike Fernandez says “bullyionaire” Donald Trump is “whipping up hysteria” with divisive rhetoric about Hispanics.

“Donald Trump is puffed out about himself, like a crowing rooster, but acts more like a crying capon because his rhetorical attacks lack courage, truth and hope,” Fernandez said in a statement on Wednesday, accompanying the release of a new video advertisement for his “Stop the Bullyionaire” campaign.

{mosads}“His peak was built on sound-bite insults against whole populations — people who want nothing more, but nothing less, than a fair shake at living the American dream,” the statement continued.

Fernandez, a self-made billionaire who fled communist Cuba when he was 12, announced he was launching a campaign to stop Trump’s presidential run in a full-page newspaper ad last week.

The “Stop the Bullyionaire” campaign released its first video advertisement on Thursday. Titled “Latinos are Americans,” the 60-second spot highlights the ways in which Latinos have contributed to the “American fabric.”

Fernandez is former Florida Gov. Bush’s biggest political donor, contributing $3 million to the Right to Rise super-PAC that is supporting Bush’s presidential bid.

The founder of the private equity firm MBF Healthcare Partners, Fernandez said he did not seek counsel from the Bush campaign or Right to Rise before launching his anti-Trump campaign.
