Trump owns social media during debate
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is once again dominating the social media conversation during Thursday night’s debate.
The real estate mogul has been the focus of 62 percent of the Twitter conversation during the debate, according to data obtained by the social media platform.
Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) follows at a distant second place with 16 percent, with Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) at 15 and Ohio Gov. John Kasich at 7 percent of the conservation on Twitter.
The most-tweeted moment happened when Trump defended his businesses, including Trump University.

On Facebook, Trump controlled 73 percent of the debate conversation. Cruz followed with 11 percent, Rubio at 10 percent and Kasich at 6 percent.
{mosads}The most-discussed moment on Facebook happened when Donald Trump responded to Marco Rubio’s jokes about the size of his hands.
“If they’re small then something else must be small. I guarantee you there is no problem,” Trump said.
