Oregon Gov. John Kitzhaber (D) narrowly won a fourth term (nonconsecutive) Tuesday evening.
Kitzhaber was declared the winner of the gubernatorial race a little more than an hour after polls closed in Oregon, besting GOP challenger Dennis Richardson in a relatively close race.
With 64 percent of precincts reporting, Kitzhaber had garnered 49.1 percent support, compared to Richardson’s 45.8 percent.
