Lower-priced ticket packages range from $25,000 to $225,000 for a standing room ticket.

Joel is a longtime associate of the family, having met Cuomo’s father, Mario, when he was governor of the state. He has since become an acquaintance of Andrew Cuomo because, the Daily News reports, “a mutual interest in bikes, boats and a common social circle in the Hamptons.”

The money raised will go towards Cuomo’s 2014 reelection fight. According to the most recent filings, he had $27.8 million in the bank for his campaign.
