A GOP congressional candidate for 2014 appears to have a wild side.
Stewart Mills of Minnesota is seen in newly released photos hitting a beer bong, and licking a woman.
In photos obtained by Minneapolis’s City Pages, Mills is seen chugging beer through a funnel. A Democratic source leaked the photos, according to the report.
His wife originally posted the two beer bong photos to Facebook in February 2009, but they were deleted after Mills launched his congressional campaign this year.
Another photo in the report shows the candidate at a 2008 Christmas party licking the lips of an unidentified woman.
Mills, 41, released a statement after seeing the report containing the photos.
{mosads}“It’s no secret that in the past I’ve let my hair down to have fun with family and friends. My wife and I have had many lighthearted moments in our lives but right now I am focused on my Congressional campaign and the disastrous effects of our overreaching government and sky high unemployment in the north eastern Minnesota,” he said to City Pages.
Mills is challenging incumbent Rep. Rick Nolan (D-Minn.) in next year’s midterm election.
Nolan, 69, returned to Congress after being elected last November after defeating GOP incumbent Rep. Chip Cravaack 55 to 45 percent. He had previously served three terms in the House in the mid-’70s and early ’80s.
Mills currently serves as a vice president of Mills Fleet Farm, a hunting, fishing and sporting goods chain.
