Rep. Davis tops $600K for quarter

Rep. Rodney Davis (R-Ill.) pulled in more than $600,000 in the last fundraising quarter and has $940,000 left in the bank after an expensive primary, according to his campaign.

{mosads}The big fundraising haul will help him in his race against former Judge Ann Callis (D). Davis holds one of the most competitive swing districts in the country — President Obama and Mitt Romney essentially tied there in 2012.

Callis, who had a competitive primary of her own, has yet to announce her fundraising figures for the quarter. She had $450,000 in the bank as of the end of February.
