DCCC outraises NRCC by $3M in April

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) last month again significantly outraised its Republican counterpart, bringing in $3 million more than the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC).

{mosads}The NRCC reported it raised $4.1 million in April, while the DCCC brought in $7.1 million. The GOP committee has $32.3 million cash in the bank, while the Democratic committee has $43.5 to burn.

Neither committee has any debt.

The Democratic committee has consistently outraised the NRCC in most months this cycle, bringing in over $20 million more than the NRCC overall.

DCCC Chairman Steve Israel (N.Y.) said his committee’s fundraising advantage indicates strong opposition to Republicans this cycle.

“House Democrats continue to break every fundraising record on the books because our supporters are engaged and hungry to elect representatives who have their backs,” he said. “Grassroots supporters across the country are joining our efforts to put a stop to this Republican Congress that is relentlessly stacking the deck for special interests and the ultra-wealthy at the expense of middle class families.”
