Club for Growth back on air against Bruning in Nebraska

{mosads}The Club for Growth, which frequently targets Republicans it deems insufficiently conservative on fiscal issues, has taken a major role in boosting state Treasurer Don Stenberg (R), who poses the biggest obstacle to Bruning winning the nomination. Joining the Club have been other conservative groups, including Sen. Jim DeMint’s (R-S.C.) Senate Conservatives Fund.

The winner of the GOP primary, which also includes state Sen. Deb Fischer (R), will face former Sen. Bob Kerrey (D-Neb.) in the fall.
