Mica claims 30-point lead over Adams in internal poll

The Mica camp said the poll came despite negative campaigning from Adams and after she won a round of positive press coverage for her leadership of the House GOP’s reauthorization of the Violence Against Women Act.

{mosads}“The poll is clearly reflective that the GOP voters are tired of the constant negative tone coming from the Adams campaign for the past four months,” said John Dowless, a Mica consultant.

An Adams spokeswoman, Lisa Boothe, disputed the poll and attacked Mica.

“He personifies all that is wrong with Washington today and no questionable robopoll is going to change that fact,” she said. “Sandy’s grassroots efforts are being validated by the response she is receiving from Republican voters on the ground, and we have no doubt she will prevail in the August primary.”
