Clinton cuts robocalls for 45 Dem House candidates

{mosads}Clinton’s recorded 45 robocalls for Democratic House candidates nationwide to use in the waning days of their campaign. A notably raspy Clinton can be heard urging Californians to vote for Ami Bera in one call, because, he says, “we need more practical problem-solvers like Ami Bera in Washington, and President Obama needs a partner like him.”

The former president has stumped for Senate candidates as well, including Heidi Heitkamp in North Dakota and Richard Carmona in Arizona, and most recently, he cut a robocall for Massachusetts Senate candidate Elizabeth Warren.

And he’s one of Obama’s most influential and prolific surrogates, rallying supporters in Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, Minnesota and North Carolina over the past few days alone.

The Democrats for whom Clinton recorded robocalls include Reps. Tim Bishop (N.Y.); Kathy Boockvar (Pa.); Brad Schneider (Ill.); Julia Brownley (Calif.); Cheri Bustos (Ill.); Val Demings (Fla.); Bill Enyart (Ill.); Elizabeth Esty (Conn.); Bill Foster (Ill.); Pete Gallego (Texas); David Gill (Ill.); Jose Hernandez (Calif.); Anne Kirkpatrick (Ariz.); Al Lawson (Fla.); Gary McDowell (Mich.); Joe Miklosi; (Colo.); Bill Owens (N.Y.); Scott Peters (Calif.); Patrick Murphy (Fla.); Raul Ruiz (Calif.); John Delaney (Md.); Betty Sutton (Ohio); and Charlie Wilson (Ohio).
