NRCC ties Democratic candidates to Pelosi in new ads

{mosads}The ads are targeting top recruits for Democrats that the NRCC says have “already gone Washington.” They tie the Democratic candidates to Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), charging that the House minority leader “likes” the candidate in question, and asking, “Do you?”

“It didn’t take long for these Democrat recruits to act like Washington politicians,” NRCC Communications Director Andrea Bozek said in a statement.

“With Nancy Pelosi devoted to making herself Speaker of the House again, Republicans aren’t going to waste any time introducing her recruits to voters and revealing them for who they really are — Pelosi’s hand-picked candidates who will reliably stand behind her failed agenda.”

The ads target Democrats Gwen Graham, who is challenging Rep. Steve Southerland (R-Fla.); Kevin Strouse, who challenging Rep. Mike Fitzpatrick (R-Pa.); and Andrew Romanoff, who is challenging Rep. Mike Coffmann (R-Colo.). The campaign committee is also targeting potential candidate Erin Bilbray-Kohn, who has expressed interest in running against Rep. Joe Heck (R-Nev.).

All four of those Republicans were also named to the NRCC’s “Patriot Program” on Monday, the program designed to help the party protect its incumbents and its control of the House.
