Mia Love raises $475K for House rematch
Love, a highly touted candidate in 2012 who fell just short of winning after building a national profile, is taking another shot at the heavily Republican district. She now has more than $450,000 in the bank.
{mosads}The race will be one of the most closely watched, pitting the hard-campaigning centrist Matheson against the African-American candidate many Republicans view as a rising star in the party.
“This is only the beginning,” Love said in a statement. “Besides building a tremendous base of financial support, our campaign is developing strong grass-roots organizational support throughout the entire 4th Congressional District. That support from thousands of Utahns will result in victory in 2014.”
