Clinton slams four-year campaign cycles
Former President Clinton says it’s a “big mistake” for America to engage in constant four-year campaign cycles.
“We have very serious challenges in America. We have responsibilities around the world. I think it’s a big mistake — this constant four-year peripatetic campaign — it’s not good for America. We need to deal with the business we have before us,” Clinton said in Tuesday in an interview on “CNN en Español” with Juan Carlos López.
{mosads}Clinton was asked if his wife will run in 2016.
“I don’t know,” the former president replied.
Hillary Clinton is considered the Democratic front-runner if she decides to launch another presidential campaign.
“I think, and she believes, that the country should spend at least another year working very hard on the problems we have,” he added.
The former president was also asked what he thinks of Vice President Biden running in 2016.
Clinton said he likes him a lot, Lopez said.
