Joe Scarborough to be included on 2016 presidential survey

MSNBC host Joe Scarborough will be included on a GOP presidential survey that will be conducted in New Hampshire this weekend.

Scarborough, who co-hosts “Morning Joe,” will be included in a survey conducted by WPA Opinion Research at this weekend’s Northeast Republican Leadership Conference in Nashua, N.H. 

{mosads}Other names that will be included on the ballot include Sens. Rand Paul (Ky.), Ted Cruz (Texas), Mike Lee (Utah), Marco Rubio (Fla.) and Rob Portman (Ohio).

The survey will also name Govs. Chris Christie (N.J.), Bobby Jindal (La.), Rick Perry (Texas), Scott Walker (Wis.), John Kasich (Ohio) and Susana Martinez (N.M.).

Reps. Paul Ryan (Wis.) and Peter King (N.Y.), former Sen. Rick Santorum (Pa.), former Govs. Jeb Bush (Fla.) and Mike Huckabee (Ark.), former ambassador to the United Nations John Bolton and conservative Ben Carson will also appear on the ballot. 

{mosads}Scarborough and a few others on the ballot are slated to speak at the convention as well as Sen. Kelly Ayotte (R-N.H.). 

Scarborough was asked last month on “The View” if he wants to run for president.

“No, no,” Scarborough said. His co-host Mika Brzezinski interrupted and asked, “Do others want him to run? Yes.” Audience members at the talk show burst out with applause.

On the conservative “The Hugh Hewitt Show” that same day, Scarborough didn’t rule out a 2016 run.

“No, I’m not going — I won’t rule anything out. I’ve always said, and I’ve always been very open about the fact that the greatest job I ever had, and the greatest honor I ever had, was being in the House of Representatives,” he said. “But no, I’ve always said I wanted to get back in. It’s just a matter of timing, and we’ll see when it happens.”
