Santorum: No ‘final decisions’ yet on 2016
Rick Santorum, a 2012 presidential candidate, on Sunday suggested he’s preparing himself for another White House bid, but hasn’t made a decision yet.
“I’m doing everything consistent with a run for 2016, but I haven’t made any final decisions,” Santorum said on CNN’s “State of the Union.”
{mosads}Santorum said in a recent interview that he will make the decision around June of 2015.
The former senator from Pennsylvania dropped out of the 2012 race in April of that year after Mitt Romney pulled ahead in the early primaries.
