Hannity to interview Jeb Bush at CPAC
Fox News host Sean Hannity will interview Jeb Bush at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) on Friday.
Speakers at this year’s CPAC had the option of giving a prepared speech or participating in a 20-minute question and answer session. Bush has decided on a Q&A and will cast his lot with Hannity.
{mosads}It could be a tense, high-stakes showdown.
Bush has been courting establishment-minded Republican donors as he moves toward a likely White House bid in 2016. Hannity is a conservative firebrand who frequently challenges GOP leadership, as he did at the end of 2014 when he called for Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) to be replaced.
Many political watchers say Bush’s biggest challenge will be appealing to the conservative bloc in the Republican primaries.
His interview with Hannity will take place at the annual conference, which attracts thousands of grassroots conservatives that are often skeptical of the party establishment.
