‘Pawn Stars’ host touts Rubio in new ad

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) is using the host of the popular cable show “Pawn Stars” in a new ad that touts him as the “real deal.”

“Over the past few years, people have tried to sell us some real doozies,” the show’s host Rick Harrison says, as the camera shows bobblehead dolls of President Obama and Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton.

{mosads}“But this is really worth something, this is something people want,” Harrison says of Rubio.

Harrison endorsed Rubio early, and the Florida senator turned GOP presidential hopeful visited his Las Vegas shop during a May swing through Nevada. The spot likens Rubio to a “good investment” and praises him as a product good for families, businesses and the country’s future.

The host has  already appeared as a campaign surrogate, touting his endorsement to Fox News in May.

“I’m pretty good at reading people when I negotiate, I negotiate with people all the time,” he said on “Fox and Friends.”

“This guy honestly cares about American people and free enterprise.”

Rubio continues to poll in the top echelon of GOP candidates, as a RealClearPolitics average of recent polling has him in third place.
