Rubio: Obama has no class
Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) accused President Obama of having “no class” during an interview Wednesday morning on Fox News, citing a selfie-stick video and interviews with YouTube stars.
{mosads}When asked if Donald Trump is conducting himself beneath the office of the presidency, the Florida presidential hopeful said that the presidency has to be conducted in a “dignified way, with a level of class.”
After Rubio panned Trump for behavior that isn’t “dignified or worthy of the office he seeks,” he pivoted to Obama.
“We already have a president now that has no class,” Rubio said.
“We have a president now that does selfie-stick videos, that invites YouTube stars there, people that eat cereal out of a bathtub.”
Obama once made a video for Buzzfeed where he tried to use a selfie-stick that attaches to a cellphone to take pictures and invited YouTube stars to interview him. One of those, GloZell Green, once made a video that went viral of her eating cereal in a bathtub.
Rubio criticized Obama for his Tuesday night interview on “The Daily Show with John Stewart,” remarking that he goes on “comedy shows to talk about something as serious as Iran.”
“It’s important to have a presidency that restores dignity and class to the White House,” Rubio said, before remarking again that Trump’s comments have not been worthy of the presidency.
