Jindal resumes campaign after La. shooting
Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal (R) is resuming his presidential campaign on Tuesday after suspending it four days ago to deal with the aftermath of a deadly shooting in his state.
Jindal will travel to New York on Tuesday for a round of media interviews, his campaign said in statement.
{mosads}On Sunday and Monday, the Louisiana governor attended the funerals for Jillian Johnson and Mayci Breaux, the two women killed in the shooting at a movie theater in Lafayette.
Nine others were injured in the shooting. The alleged gunman, 59-year-old John Houser, whom police have described as a “drifter,” took his own life at the scene.
