Bush website contrasts record with Walker, Rubio

Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush’s campaign website posted pages Thursday night that contrast his record with two of his top GOP rivals — but then abruptly pulled them down.

The pages compared Bush’s record with Florida Sen. Marco Rubio and Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker.

{mosads}The bulleted lists included statements such as “Under Scott Walker, Wisconsin Ranked Last In The Midwest In Job Growth And Broke His Pledge To Create 250,000 Jobs In His First Term.”

Another page included points such as “Marco Rubio Sponsored Just One Bill That Has Become Law” and “Rubio Has Only Sponsored Two Bills That Have Even Passed The Senate.”

“Draft pages that were taken down, we have lots of material to prepare for the debate as circumstances require,” Bush spokeswoman Allie Brandenburger explained in an email.
