Bush: Clinton has ‘serious problems’

Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush on Wednesday dismissed Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton’s apology for using a private email account while secretary of State.

“Look, it wasn’t allowed. That’s the simple fact. We found out about it with a subpoena. She’s not been truthful, and I think it’s damaged her campaign significantly,” Bush said on “Fox and Friends.”

{mosads}”She’s got serious problems,” he said, citing the federal probe into her email setup.

“I think the lesson is, you’ve got to be transparent when you’re running for office,” he added, referring to his own release of 33 years of tax returns.

“Some of it was ugly, but that’s the right thing to do,” Bush said.

Clinton apologized Tuesday during an interview with ABC News for using a private email server

“I look back at it now — even though it was allowed — I should have used two accounts, one for personal, one for work-related emails,” Clinton told ABC’s David Muir.

“That was a mistake. I’m sorry about that. I take responsibility,” Clinton said.

Bush noted that he is releasing a book at the end of October highlighting his own emails from his time as governor of Florida.

But Bush demurred when asked if he had himself deleted emails from back then.

“Look, she was secretary of State. That’s the difference. It’s a national security issue,” Bush said on Fox, referring to recent leaks of government data.

“She jeopardized national security by having confidential information go over that server. We see what happened with the Snowden incident, the Bradley Manning incident, OPM.”
