Presidential debate schedule unveiled

 
Presidential candidates looking to emerge as the nominee after their party’s primary can mark a few more dates on the calendar next fall for the White House general election debates.
 
Three presidential and one vice presidential debate will be held for the 2016 general election next fall, the Commission on Presidential Debates announced Wednesday.
 
{mosads}The first presidential debate of 2016 will be held Sept. 26 at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. 
 
The sole vice presidential debate will be held the following week, Oct. 4, at Longwood University in Farmville, Va. 
 
Two more presidential debates come later that month: Oct. 9 at Washington University in St. Louis, Mo.; and Oct. 19 at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
 
Moderators for the debates will be announced next year, the commission said. Further details for the debates will be announced soon.
