Santorum: ‘We have entered World War III’

Former Sen. Rick Santorum (R-Pa.) said Tuesday at the GOP undercard debate that the United States has “entered World War III.”

“World War III has begun and we have a leader who refuses to identify it and be truthful to the American people and the stakes involved, in part because his policies have led us here,” the White House hopeful said.

{mosads}He doesn’t support banning those on the terror watch lists from obtaining firearms, however.

“I don’t agree with it,” Santorum said, adding that no one should be denied their Second Amendment right, saying that the process to do background checks on suspected terrorist needs to be more transparent.
